You might need .NET frameworks in order to install/run DDPB Installer:
Download .NET framework 2.0 or above.
You must install the appropriate version of Java JRE:
Download JRE for Windows 32 Here
Download JRE for Windows 64 Here

I’m having issues that i can’t find the answer too. When i try to connect to my playbook it says ‘java’ is not recognized as an intern or external command.
I have jave 6 update 26 64 bit installed.
jave 6 update 26 64 installed.
java se development kit 6 update 26 and jave se development kit 6 update (64 bit installed)
I’ve manually added the java location to my path
windows 7 64 pro.

You don’t need Java SE. You only need Java JRE 32bit. Make sure you restart your PC after installing Java and DDPB. Please try and let us know.

My playbook needs Wi-Fi OFF to be able to connect to the PC but with the new version I’m not able connect the new DDPB with the playbook.

It doesn’t work in Windows 7 64 without Java 32bit .
So install Jave 32bit too, and then it’s connecting just fine.

Unable to connect to DDPB to Playbook,yet can connect, under developer mode, to Blackberry desktop with developer password. Windows Xp sp3 Net4 …no error messages.

I am also having connectivity issues. I can’t connect DDPB to my Playbook, it. I have installed Java 32bit, I am in “development mode”, and can connect to BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
I am running Windows XP SP3, NetFrame 4.
I don’t know what else to do. I have tried installing older versions of DDPB, and while it seems I connect with older versions, after I click install, nothing happens.
Help please!

I have solved the previously sent problem by updating my Java runtime but now i have this message “java.lang.nullpointerexception”

How can i uninstall sideloaded apps? Can i just use the trashcan? Or i still need to uninstall it manually using ddpb? And one last query, is it possible for this program to search the all the sideloaded bar files on pb? I have multiple playbooks and the listing on DDPB confuses me. Can I request a feature for automatic listing on what bar files are sideloaded, or how can I uninstall it on another PC? Do i have to carry all the bar files with me?

got this message when using the DDPB installer:
‘unable to access jarfile Y:\downloads\bar\BarDeploy.jar’
any ideas how to solve this?

Good work guys, please can i have any application that can help me convert the android files into .bar so that i can load it on my playbook
